The best part of painting this mural was being invited to MODA to sample the menu and meet the team.
At MODA every thing is an art for. The food, atmosphere, wine and service are all delivered with a sense of purpose. We wanted to bring that same artistry to this wall and capture the sense of playfulness and creativity that accompanies good food.
This was a uniquely shaped canvas to work on and we particularly enjoyed takign our time at the pinnacle of the wall to hand letter the restaurant signage.

There is a great energy in this street that is always full of patrons looking for good food and drink, particularly after the football.
Using shape, pattern and typography influenced by Picasso and Gaudi we incorporated the motif of a bull as a symbol of strength and power.
