This is one of the largest projects we have worked on, not only did we paint the pool side mural but also 38 levels of artwork for each level of accomodation.
While the poolside mural would have to be our favourite part of this wall we were also stoked with the geometric and stencil work we developed.

With a limited budget and time constraints we came up with a style and process to meet the objective.
Murals in progress
Incorporating a street art stencilling aesthetic we combined it with geometric forms to create surreal yet humorous and playful images.
Stencil Murals with a fun twist
With four artists working 5 days a week this project took about 30 days to complete. Layering geometric hard shapes over organic painterly textures and finally bringing detail and story to the image by using hand cut stencils as the top layer.
Developing the mural concepts
We were obviously inspired by Blek le Rat, Banksy and other stencil and street artists for this project. We had fun coming up with imagery that felt fun, strange, quirky and hopefully made students lives more interesting.
